We were delighted to host the new Slovak Ambassador here at Pavee Point this week. Mr. Igor Pokojny came on a fact finding mission regarding Roma in Ireland.
The Embassy estimates there are between 20,000 to 25,000 Slovaks in Ireland. In the Slovak Republic, Roma make up 20% of the general population.
We look forward to working with Mr. Pokojny in the future and look forward to seeing him again at our Roma events.
