Pavee Point promotes the rights of Traveller & Roma women within the community and in wider society.  We raise awareness of gender equality by campaigning at local, regional and national levels.

We celebrate and promote Traveller & Roma women visibility for International Women’s Day and support gender equality work throughout the work of all Pavee Point programmes.  We promote leadership for Traveller women both within representative and non-respresentative politics.   We highlight how racism and discrimination specifically impacts women.

Pavee Point promotes Traveller and Roma women participation within the women’s movement and is a member of National Traveller Women’s Forum and the National Women’s Council.

Through our work on Consent Education we challenge gender norms and raise awareness of consent in relationships. We also raise awareness on internet safety for Traveller & Roma women and girls.
