National Traveller Women’s Forum Policy Training and AGM

Pavee Point  attended the National Traveller Women’s Forum Policy Training event and AGM on 16th September.   “The event brought Traveller women together to discuss issues they face,” said Tessa Collins of Pavee Point’s Violence Against Women Project, who attended.

The women were asked to reflect on their own experiences as Traveller representatives – going to meetings and having discussions.  “A Forum like this gives Traveller women a chance to discuss that area of work and come up with actions or strategies,” explained Tessa.
