Three new recruits joined our team of Home Visitors as part of our Education Programme. They completed training with the National College of Ireland before taking up their positions.
The new recruits joined the Home Visitor team that works on the Parent Child Home Programme (PCHP) in the Finglas area. PCHP is an innovative literacy programme that boosts children’s learning to give them a head start before they begin school.
In 2014 the programme worked with 10 Traveller families in the Finglas area. This year we intend to expand the programme to 15 or more Traveller families and recruit a further two Home Visitors to the team.
