Twelve young Travellers got to see the Ireland soccer team training this week as part of the work of our Health Team. The lads got to meet their football heroes and to see what a professional training session is really like.
This initiative is part of our ongoing work with the FAI and other sports and health organisations with a view to improving quality of life for young Travellers who face high unemployment, low educational outcomes and social determinants that can impact severely on mental health.
